Thank you for your interest in fishing with Hooked For Life Guide Service.  We appreciate your visit to our website and hope you find this information useful.  We would enjoy guiding you on your visit to Alaska and hope you will give us the opportunity.

All our trips are fully guided, meaning we provide all the rods, tackle, bait, and gear required for the trip.  We offer both 1/2 day and full day charters to fit your schedule.  Our half day trips last 5 1/2 to 6 hours on the water and our full day trips are 8 to 10 hours.  On your trip you'll have the chance to sit back and relax in a comfortable Willie Boat, while fishing for what might be the next big record.  We have both power and drift boats available to take you to where the fish are.  In general, we run power boats on the Kenai River and use drift boats to fish the Kasilof River.

We provide top quality gear: G-Loomis rods and Shimano reels.  We fish out of a 20' Willie Predator powered by a quiet 4 stroke Yamaha outboard, on the Kenai.  On the Kasilof, we use a 20' Willie drift boat.  Both boats offer comfortable, padded seating and plenty of fishing room for 4 people.    Fish cleaning is provided for all our clients at the end of each trip.  There is also vacuum packing, smoking, canning, freezing, and shipping available.

A few personal items you should bring include: fishing license, king stamp (if fishing Kings), sun screen, sun glasses, warm coat, rain gear, snacks, and a camera.

We are located near the town of Soldotna, Alaska in the center of the Kenai Peninsula.  Soldotna is located about 150 miles south of Anchorage on the Sterling Highway, a scenic 3 hour drive or a short 20 minute flight.

Our fishing season runs from May through September.  We specialize in salmon fishing, but can arrange halibut charters, fly outs, and lodging as well.
