About Mike

Description of Picture.I am a local guide and live in the area year round. I grew up on the banks of the Kenai River and have been fishing these rivers since childhood.  At the age of 14, I bought my first boat and have been running one ever since.  When I turned 17, I began taking drift boat charters.  Since then I have added a power boat and a saltwater boat and have taken people fishing from all over the world.  This isn't just a hobby to me, its a way of life.

I take pride in my work and will do everything possible to make your trip as enjoyable and successful as possible.  Whether this is a once in a lifetime trip or your 20th trip I will work hard and do everything possible to put you on the fish.  Over half of my business is from repeat clients.  I have been working as a professional fishing guide since 1996 and am USCG licensed and insured.
